Pulp 27 Brand Identity

Pulp 27 is a new contemporary, artisan coffee roastery in Kent who were in need of a brand identity. Offering wholesale gourmet coffee and a letterbox coffee subscription service, Pulp 27 aim to establish themselves as a coffee destination. Cariad Rose, a brand and marketing coach who we have worked with previously, brought us the logo design project. Pulp 27 required a bold, contemporary brand identity using a bright colour palette which had to include green to represent the farm-to-cup ethos of the brand. Because the business is just starting out and eager to launch, we offered a light branding package which could get them on their feet fast.

The process

Practising what she preaches – Lyndsey always begins any logo design project on paper. After sketching out a tonne of ideas, some promising ones are taken on-screen. Three options are provided to the client once the development stage is complete. The client assesses the given options and comes back with a chosen design. At this point, Lyndsey then works the design into a set of basic brand guidelines. These include things like how to use (and not use!) the logo, font choices and colour palette. All the files that the client will need to implement their logo across their branded materials are provided, and the project is complete!

What the client had to say

On behalf of her client, Cariad has this to say: “I’m delighted with this branding, Lyndsey you’ve done a great job! The colourways are fantastic and we can’t wait to start putting it all into use.”
